Rhino Health Leads in Data Security and Privacy, Receives ISO27001 and SOC2 Certifications

Rhino Health is proud to announce that we have achieved both SOC2 and ISO27001 certifications. These certifications are important indicators of the security and quality of our information systems and processes, and are especially critical in the healthcare industry.

For those unfamiliar with these certifications, SOC2 is a framework devised by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) to describe how organizations protect customer data from unauthorized access or other security incidents. ISO27001 was created by the International Standards Organization (ISO) to outline best practices for information security management systems. Taken together, these standards highlight a robust set of policies, procedures, and other controls in place to ensure an organization takes information security seriously.

Achieving these certifications is a significant milestone for Rhino Health, as it demonstrates our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of security and data protection for our clients. At Rhino, security is not just an afterthought - it is the very reason we exist.

Rhino Health was created to lower barriers to healthcare data collaborations and to enable researchers and clinicians to more easily access and analyze data. These certifications are further evidence that our model of ‘bringing compute to the data’ is safe, effective, and secure.

Achieving these certifications is about more than just checking a box. It's about building trust with our clients and partners. We take the responsibility of protecting their data very seriously, and these certifications serve as a testament to our dedication to doing so.
